Wally Hart, Executive Director
Wally has more than 40 years of community development and organizational leadership success. Prior to coming to Lexington, he owned his own business, was CEO of the Fulton County Regional Chamber of Commerce and made valuable connections throughout the region. He has served on numerous boards of directors for economic and artistic organizations, including the Business Council of New York State. He was appointed by Governor David Patterson to serve on his Small Business Task Force and the Governor’s Health Care Advisory Task Force. Since 2011, he has served as a member of the Mohawk Valley Regional Economic Development Council representing Fulton County. Wally oversaw the development, construction and opening of the Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts in 2015. His connections to the community and region have help build partnerships and support for the project and for Transitions, which also opened in 2015 under the leadership of the Lexington Foundation and The Arc Lexington.
